"astonishingly warm and mature sound" and "Mozartian purity"

We are delighted to welcome Uruguayan-Australian soprano Natasha Gesto to our management roster.

Natasha is quickly establishing herself as a compelling young artist, admired for her “astonishingly warm and mature sound” and “Mozartian purity,” as well as her musical intelligence, vivid stage presence. Her recent and upcoming engagements include appearances at the Semperoper Dresden, where her assignments include  Erste Dame in Die Zauberflöte, Sandmann in Hänsel und Gretel, Juliette in Die Tote Stadt, Musetta in La Bohème, and Lenio in The Greek Passion (New Production).

Her concert and festival engagements include Strauss’ Vier letzte Lieder with the Juilliard Lab Orchestra at Alice Tully Hall, Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem in Sydney, performances at the Semperoper Opera Gala “Belcanto d’amore,” in Breslau with the Kammerorchester of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music. On the operatic stage, she has also appeared as a Milliner in Der Rosenkavalier and created the role of Deirdre in the world premiere of Gregory Spears’ The Righteous at the Santa Fe Opera. Other important roles include Nedda in Pagliacci, The Governess in The Turn of the Screw, Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Fiordiligi in Cosí fan tutte.

Natasha is a graduate of The Juilliard School, where her performance as the Governess in The Turn of the Screw drew widespread praise and where she received the prestigious Kovner Fellowship, as well as the young artist programs of The Santa Fe Opera, International Meistersinger Academy (IMA), and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

We are very pleased to begin this collaboration and look forward to supporting Natasha Gesto in the continued development of her promising international career.
