We are delighted to welcome Julie Hyunseo Lee to our management roster. Originally from South Korea, she completed her Master's degree at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg in June of this year. She has performed in numerous opera productions, including the roles of Micaela (Carmen), Blanche (Dialogues des Carmélites), Mimì (La bohème), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) and others. Later this year, she will take part in the 2026 Menuhin Festival Academy in Gstaad. She will also join the ensemble at the Kieler Theater for the 2026/27 season.
In January 2026, she was a finalist in the 63rd Viñas Competition in Barcelona. She won third prize at the Hamburger Mozart Competition and was also a finalist at the Elisabeth Connell Competition in 2026. She received a special prize at the Daegu Vocal Music Competition in 2025.
Alongside opera, Hyunseo Lee specialises in concert and art song repertoire. She has performed at the Yonsei Chamber Music Festival, the Korean Lieder Festival at the Seoul Centre and others.
We are proud to begin this collaboration with Julie Hyunseo Lee and look forward to supporting her in her international career.
