Theater Basel - Turandot - Calaf

Schliesslich singt ihr Rodrigo Porras Garulo seine berühmte Arie «Nessun dorma» als Calaf direkt ins Gesicht. Und sein Tenorschmelz lässt die Eisige für einen Moment tatsächlich weich werden, bevor sie aus Angst vor den eigenen Gefühlen das Weite sucht. Porras Garulo muss auch bei den exponierten Passagen nicht forcieren und kann sich dabei auf die einfühlsame Sängerbegleitung durch das Sinfonieorchester Basel und Pérez-Sierra stützen.
