This season he can be seen at La Scala, Elbphilharmonie, Wiener Konzerthaus, Rudolfinum Prague, Gewandhaus, as tenor soloist on tour with the Czech Philharmonic under Semyon Bychkov for Stravinsky Pulcinella, the same piece with The Gewandhaus Orchester, and the Colburn Orchestra/Esa-Pekka Salonen for his debut at the Ojai Festival. Additional appearances of Messiah, Beethoven 9, Septimius in Theodora, Britten Les Illuminations, Three of Bach’s Evangelist’s in St. John, St. Matthew and Easter passions. Recitals with Erika Switzer and tenor soloist with Mitsuko Uchida conducting Beethoven Choral Fantasy, and returning to the Marlboro Music Festival.
Appearances at Gewandhaus, Carnegie Hall and Boston Symphony Orchestea for Bach Magnificat and Mozart Requiem, collaborations with Andris Nelsons, Thomas Adès, Anna Rakitina, Gemma New, John Harbison, Kent Tritle, Filippo Ciabatti. Residencies at Marlboro Music Festival, Tanglewood Music Center, Britten Pears and Carnegie Hall Song Studio.
