Après un premier acte légèrement engorgé, Popov fait de nouveau des prouesses en Nibelung retors, trouvant le juste milieu entre art vocal et jeu scénique.
Andreï Popov se révèle un Mime truculent à souhait, sans gestuelle outrancière ni voix ridiculisée avec excès, se servant du texte pour donner tout son piquant au personnage.
