We are delighted to share that soprano Victoria Randem has been awarded the Kirsten Flagstad Prize 2025, a distinction presented by the Flagstad Society to outstanding Norwegian singers.

The Kirsten Flagstad Prize honours artists who embody the excellence and spirit of Norway’s great operatic tradition. Previous laureates include Elisabeth Teige, Lise Davidsen, Rachel Willis-Sørensen and Yngve Søberg, placing Victoria Randem among a remarkable line of distinguished recipients.

Founded in 1975 by Torstein Gunnarson and Øystein Gaukstad on the occasion of Kirsten Flagstad’s 80th birthday, the Flagstad Society aims to preserve and promote the legacy of one of the 20th century’s most celebrated sopranos.

This recognition marks an important milestone in Victoria Randem’s career and celebrates her artistry, dedication, and growing international acclaim.
