Andrii Kymach joins TACT

We are excited to announce our signing of Ukrainian Bass-baritone Andrii Kymach, First Prize Winner of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World, for general management.

In the Season 2023/24, Andrii makes his debut as Escamillo in the new production of ‘Carmen’ directed by Damiano Michieletto at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, he also makes his house debut with Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía as Tomsky in Tchaikovsky’s ‘Pique Dame’ and appears as Robert in ‘Iolanta’ at the Royal Albert Hall.

On the concert platform he will be performing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under Vasily Petrenko and with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra under Ed Gardner in Rachmaninov's ‘The Bells’. Future plans include his house debut with Opera National de Paris and a return to Welsh National Opera. 

His previous season’s appearances include his Houston Grand Opera debut as Giorgio Germont in ‘La Traviata’, with Opera Australia in the title role of ‘Don Giovanni’, with the Chicago Lyric Opera as Escamillo in ‘Carmen’ and as Tomsky in ‘Pique Dame’ at the Grange Festival.
