New National Theatre Tokyo debut as Frank Die Fledermaus. Le garde forestier Schreker’s Irrelohe at the Opera de Lyon* and at the Theater Bonn. Sempronio (bass version) Haydn's Lo speziale for Amsterdam’s Punto Arte Ensemble with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra and with the Tonhalle Zürich Orchestra. At the Opera de Lyon as Bartolo Le nozze di Figaro*, Mamyrov in Tchaikovsky’s The Enchantress, Poet in Donizetti's Viva la Mamma, Bartolomeo Delacqua Eine Nacht in Venedig, Der Tod Der Kaiser von Atlantis, Don Profondo Il Viaggio, Masetto Don Giovanni, and the bass baritone part GerMANIA.   

 
 

Past

At the St. Moritz Festival as Leporello Don Giovanni, Don Alfonso Così fan tutte and Don Pomponio Rossini’s La gazzetta. Dutch National Opera debut as Proletarian and Detective A Dog’s Heart. Phillip Glass’ Akhnaten and M. Nyman’s The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat. Piotr Micinski est ici le terrible manipulateur Mamyrov. Le jeu est exemplaire, lubrique sans sombrer dans l’excès, sombre mais sans jamais se salir les mains (sauf lorsqu’il tue les jeunes femmes en lieu et place de sa danse, jeunes femmes qui se relèvent avant de mourir à nouveau, puis de se relever…). Envahissant sans jamais lasser, il donne vie au spectacle en y semant la mort.
