Recently the renowned Salzburg Festival has announced an extensive line-up for the upcoming 2024 season.  We are delighted to congratulate the TACT artists who will be making their debuts and returning to the festival stage next year.

A big star of the festival will be maestro Timur Zangiev who makes his Salzburg debut, conducting Prokofiev's The Gambler, it will be the first performance of this opera at the festival. In addition to Zangiev on the podium Ilia Kazakov will sing the role of The Baron in this remarkable work. Backstage, Rotem Nir as assistant conductor, Artem Grishaev as correpetitor and Liuba Orfenova as language coach will be preparing the production.

In Weinberg's production of ‘The Idiot’ you will be able to see the talented Margarita Nekrasova as Epanchina and Aleksandra Tarasenko will be working on this production as language coach and pianist.

In the concert programme, soprano Caroline Wettergreen will sing Luigi Nonos' ʻIl Canto sospesoʼ with the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester and BR-Cho.

We are extremely proud of all the artists involved in the 2024 Salzburg Festival season and are counting down the days until we can see them on stage. The festival will take place from July 19th to August 31st and more information about the programme can be found at Salzburger Festspiele website.
