We are excited to share the news that maestro Néstor Bayona has recently joined our agency's roster.
In 2023 Néstor was appointed as Resident Conductor at the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR) after serving as assistant conductor for the orchestra during the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons.
During the 2023/24 season Néstor will have the opportunity to conduct the operas Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci at the Cluj-Napoca Hungarian Opera. He also collaborated with Marin Alsop in producing Krzysztof Penderecki's ‘Die schwarze Maske’ at NOSPR and worked with Lawrence Foster on the opera ‘Pelléas et Mélisande’ at the Enescu Festival.
Néstor's upcoming engagements include performances at the Palau de la Música Catalana as well as debuts with the Oviedo Filarmonía, Orquesta del Principado de Asturias, Orquesta de Extremadura and the Orquesta Sinfónica de RTVE.
During the 2022/23 season Néstor showcased his talent across England, France, Japan, Poland, Romania and Spain. His diverse engagements included a tour to Japan with NOSPR, debut performances with various orchestras and conducting concerts with NOSPR and the Filarmonică de Stat Transilvania în Cluj.
