Bass Ilia Kazakov signs with TACT for General Management, and we are excited to welcome Ilia to TACT's artist roster!
The member of the Wiener Staatsoper Young Artist Program from the season 20/21, Ilia already received positive reviews fro his most recent portrayal of Grenvil in "La traviata".
Born in 1992 in Kazan, Ilia obtained a degree in choir conducting and studied vocals with M.V. Rodchikova and A.P. Cilinko. In 2019 Kazakov won the Galina Vishnevskaya VII International Singing Competition and was also awarded the Special Prize, whiich allowed him to join the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Studio in Moscow the same year.
