We are thrilled to announce the latest addition to our agency's roster: talented bass singer, Lev Elgardt.
His recent and upcoming engagements include bass in Mozart Requiem with Israel Chamber Orchestra, Old Gypsy in Aleko at Israeli Opera, Grivet in Aharon Harlap’s Terese Raquin and Talpa Il Tabarro at the Jerusalem opera, Vodnik Rusalka with the Jerusalem academy of music, Zuniga Carmen at Haifa Auditorium.
In Lev Elgardt’s repertoire are such roles as Don Fernando Fidelio (Beethoven), Zuniga Carmen, Masetto Don Giovanni, Geronte Manon Lescaut, Cuno Der Freischütz, Gloucester King Lear (Slonimsky), Gremin Eugene Onegin, Filiberto Il signor Bruschino (Rossini), Svetozar Ruslan and Lyudmila, Potap Enchantress, Policeman The Nose, Robber in Sergei Banevich’s Kai and Gerda, and others, performed with the Mariinsky theater, San Carlo Napoli, in UK, Finland, Sweden, etc.
Lev is the Grand Prix winner at the International vocal competition in Berlin, "The Golden Hanukija" and the first place winner at an International music competition in Kiev. He is the Second Prize winner at IX International Music Festival of Young Opera Singers in Tikhvin, Russia.
