On October 20th, in the run-up to the World Opera Day celebration, Conductor Ayyub Guliyev, artistic director of Azerbaijan State Opera and Ballet Theatre, presents a "Caucasus Gala", the final concert of the International Azerbaijan Vocal Festival at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.
Showcasing the finest voices from Azerbaijan and other countries in the region, the concert will consist of works by Mozart, Verdi, Leoncavallo, Puccini, Bizet, Gounod, as well as pieces by Azerbaijani composers Uzeyir Hajibeyli and Fikret Amirov.
The concert will be streamed live on OperaVision at 5 p.m. CET, this live event is a first for OperaVision - the first ever livestream from Baku.
