Caroline Wettergreen joins TACT for General Management

We are extremely excited to announce soprano Caroline Wettergreen joining TACT for General Management! 

One of the most exciting coloratura sopranos of her generation, praised by the press for the stratospheric high notes, Caroline Wettergreen’s 20/21 season’s engagements include her return to the Bayerische Staatsoper as Nightingale in Die Vogel, and as Princess in The Snow Queen, she will reprise the role of Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte at the Glyndebourne Festival, as well as return to the Norwegian National Opera.

Other engagements include Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Gretel Hansel and Gretel, Blonde in Die Entführung aus dem Serail for Bayerische Staatsoper, Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor and Zerlina in Don Giovanni at The Norwegian Opera & Ballet, La Fee in Cendrillon with Glyndebourne on Tour and Komische Oper and Johanna in Sweeney Todd  Bergen National Opera.

Caroline Wettergreen studied at The Norwegian Academy of Music, Norway and the Opera Academy in Copenhagen, Denmark. She made her professional debut at The Norwegian Opera & Ballet in her first year of studies in the role of Adelaide in Lulu directed by Stefan Herheim.
