Adrian Strooper, tenor, graduated from The Canberra School of Music in Australia. He has attended master classes by James Levine, John Fisher, and Bruce Ford.

Adrian Strooper won many international prizes, such as The Metropolitan Opera award, the Barilla Italian Opera Award, and The German Operatic Award.

He was member of the Cologne Opera Studio and performed

Rodriguez in Don Quichotte, Conte di Lerma in Don Carlo, Second Jew in Salome, The Son in Les Mamelles de Tiresias, Zweiter Bursche in Der Held der Westlichen Welt, 3^rd Naturhistoriker in Glanert's Scherz, Satire und Tiefere Bedeutung and Sandy in Davies' The Lighthouse.

Adrian Strooper has performed Tamino in Die Zauberflöte (New Zealand, Komische Oper Berlin, and Sydney), Pedrillo in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Cochenille and Nathaneal in Les Contes d'Hoffmann (Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra in Australia), Jaquino in Fidelio (Auckland Symphony Orchestra, New Zealand), Pastore 2 and Spirito 2 in Monteverdi's Orfeo (Festival Aix-en-Provence, R. Jacobs, conductor).

Adrian Strooper is a permanent resident soloist at Komische Oper Berlin at present, where he has performed Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Fuchs in  Pinocchio, Spalanzani and Nathaneal in Les contes d'Hoffmann, and Killian in Der Freischutz.

He has appeared as Pylades in Händel's Orest (Komische Oper Berlin) and as Acis in Händel's Acis and Galathea (Berliner Bach Academy in Madrid).

Adrian Strooper has performed Belmonte in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Gaston in La Traviata, Branko in Die rote Zora (Komische Oper Berlin), Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni and Requiem by Mozart (Komische Oper Berlin), Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte (Festival Chateau de la Sédière, France), Brighella in Ariadne auf Naxos (Leipzig), Bruno in I Puritani (Toulon, France), Tschekalinski in Pique Dame (Komische Oper Berlin), and participated in the DVD-Recording of Haydn's Armida performing Rinaldo.

He will sing Benvolio in Gounod's Romeo et Juliette (Salzburger Festsiele),  Tamino in Die Zauberflöte (on tour with Opéra Comique Paris in Grenoble, Luxembourg, Milano, London Barbican Centre, New York Lincoln Centre), among others.

He participated in the DVD-Recording of Haydn's Armida performing Rinaldo.

Adrian Strooper gave concerts in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Cologne (Fest der Schönen Stimmen with Sumi Jo), Cairns, Artena (Borghese Palace, Italy), with broadcasts by Australias National Radio Station, A.B.C. Classic f.m. among others.

His concert repertoire includes Händel's Messiah, Mendelssohn's Elias, Ramirez' Missa Criola, Bach's Matthäus Passion (Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, R. Goodman, , conductor), Bach's Johannes Passion (Noord Nederlands Orkest, J.W. de Vriend, conductor), Mozart's Requiem, Orff's Carmina Burana, among others.
