Estefania Perdomo, soprano

Estefanía Perdomo, soprano, studied at the conservatory in her native city with Mario Guerra and at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and De Nieuwe Opera Academie, the Netherlands with Barbara Pearson and Sasja Hunnegoat.

 

She has performed Madam Silberklang in Der Schauspieldirektor, Inés in La Favorita, Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, and Siebel in Faust (Opera Festival of Las Palmas), La Principessa Filosofa in Die Shuldigkeit des Ersten Gebots (Torroella de Mongrí International Festival, Girona), María in Estudiantes y alguaciles by Bretón (Festival de Zarzuela), Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro, Veronique in Le Docteur Miracle, Blanche in Dialogues des Carmelites, and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (De Nieuwe Opera Academie, The Hague).

 

Estefanía Perdomo has sung Bachiana N. 5 by Villalobos (Residentie Orkest, The Hague and Brabant Orkest's Cello Ensemble, Eindhoven), Mahler's 4th Symphony  and Messiaen's  Poemes Pour Mi (Noord Nederlands Orkest, M.Tabachnik, conductor), Fidelia in Edgar by Puccini (Leeuwarden, New Philharmonic Orchestra), a Lied concert (Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, Muziekgebouw aan het IJ), a Jewish Music Program (Ensemble Le Tendre Amour in Carpentras , France), and a concert - homage to Isaac Albéniz (Liceu Barcelona).

 

More recently Estefanía Perdomo has performed Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (Japan), a series concerts with music by Roel van Oosten and Beethoven (Residentie Orkest, The Hague), and Bellangère in Paul Dukas's Arianne et Barbe-Bleue (NPS, Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, The Netherlands).

 

Upcoming engagements include Beethoven's 9th Symphony (Vigo), Albeniz' The Magic Opal (Madrid), Mimi in La Bohème (on tour in Japan), Blumenmädchen in Parsifal (Liceu Barcelona), Beffa's Nuit Mysiques (Toulouse), and Jouvenot in Adiana Lecouvreur (Liceu Barcelona).

 

Estefanía Perdomo won the prize for the best Spanish music performance in the Acisclo Fernández Carriedo Singing Competition (2005) and the Second Prize at the María Orán Concours in Tenerife (March 2010).
