Annemarie Kremer, soprano

Dutch soprano, Annemarie Kremer, made her professional stage debut as Ilia in Idomeneo in Aachen, Germany.

She has since performed Gilda in Rigoletto, Adina in L'elisir d'Amore, Despina in Cosi fan tutte, Micaela in Carmen, Maria in West Side Story at many European opera stages such as Nürnberg, Düsseldorf, Antwerp, Paris, Amsterdam, Krakow, Budapest, Zagreb, Prague, Ljubljana, Warsaw, and Bratislava.

Annemarie Kremer has sung Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (a production which was broadcasted by TV5 and directed by Gerard Corbiau), Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni (Opera Zuid, Maastricht, Concertgebouw Amsterdam), the title part in Agrippina (Combattimento Consort Amsterdam and Opera Frankfurt), Amanda in Scenes and Interludes of Le Grand Macabre by Ligeti (ASKO and Schönberg Ensemble, Concertgebouw Amsterdam), Mademoiselle Silberklang in Der Schauspieldirektor (a TROS broadcasting), Schatten in Die Flammen by Schulhoff (Zaterdag Matinee, Concertgebouw Amsterdam), and Mina in Aroldo by Verdi (Rotterdam), the title role in Madama Butterfly (Green Mountains Opera in Vermont, USA, Poland and the Netherlands), Opera High Lights concerts (Holland Symfonia, The Netherlands), Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus (Het Gelders Orkest, The Netherlands, and Vlaams Radio Orkest, Belgium), the title role in Attima by Constant van de Wall (The Hague), Marie in La fille du Régiment  and the title role in Rusalka (Opera Zuid, Maastricht).

 

She has performed  the title part in Tosca (Stuttgart, Dortmund, and Wiesbaden, Germany), the title part in Madama Butterfly (Dortmund, Stuttgart and Denver, USA), Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni (Concertgebouw, Amsterdam), and Iseut in Le Vin Herbe by F. Martin (Cappella Amsterdam).

 

Recent and upcoming engagements include the title parts in Tosca and in Luisa Miller (Stuttgart), Hanna in Die Lustige Witwe (Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Het Gelders Orkest), Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni (Combattimento Consort Amsterdam), the title part in Norma (The Netherlands), Gerhilde in Die Walküre (De Nederlandse Opera Amsterdam), among others.

 

Annemarie Kremer frequently sings recitals and oratorios, such as Händel's Messiah, both Bach's Passions, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Mozart's Requiem, and Orff's Carmina Burana.


Annemarie Kremer recorded Mozart and Mendelssohn (Brilliant Records), Donna Anna (TV5), and Agrippina (Combattimento Consort Amsterdam).

She participated in the French movie Les Jumelles in which she sang arias from Norma and La Traviata.
