Roger Padullés made his debut as Sultan in Zaïde (Freiburg) and performed Damon in Acis and Galathea by Händel (Festival of Hamm), Normanno in Lucia di Lammermoor, Berger in Oedipus Rex, Peacock in Rossignol, Ajax in La belle Hélène', Boyard Khruchtchov in Boris Godounov, Don José in La Carmencita (chamber version of Bizet's Carmen), Arbace and Gran Sacerdote in Idomeneo (Strasbourg and Paris, Théâtre de l'Athénée).

 

Roger Padullés made his Spanish debut singing Liverotto in Lucrezia Borgia by Donizetti (Barcelona, Liceu) and performed Un Marinero in Orfeo und Eurydike by Krenek (Madrid) and Don Curzio in Le Nozze di Figaro (Barcelona, Liceu).

 

More recently he has performed Balthasar Zorn in Die Meistersinger (Liceu Barcelona and Concertgebouw Amsterdam), participated in a concert during the European Opera Days in Moscow (broadcasted by the Russian National TV Channel KULTURA), and Nadir in Les pêcheurs de perles (Santiago de Chile), Don Curzio in Le Nozze di Figaro (Toulon).

 

Upcoming engagements include Wirt in Der Rosenkavalier (Barcelona) and Jack O'Brien / Tobby Higgins in Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny (Toulouse).

 

Roger Padullés is the 2nd Prize and the Placido Domingo Prize at FRANCISCO VINAS International Singing Contest, Barcelona (2009).
